Regular Physio-led running group for those of all abilities
Unlock your running ability with Coastal Physiotherapy’s Running Group and let the fun begin.
WHO CAN COME: Anyone! These sessions are designed for people of all fitness and ability levels. Numbers will be limited. We would encourage personal goals and guide those willing towards running in one of the runs (walk, 10km 21km and Marathon) for the Gold Coast Marathon, or other events.
Steven Stringer, the physiotherapist will discuss with you even before you start what your goals are and a running plan will be tailored to help you achieve your goals. For those interested a group entry into one of the Gold Coast Marathon races can be arranged and ideally even as a group we could arrange fundraising for a worthwhile cause.
TIME: Saturday mornings at 5:30am. We start with a warm-up before starting the running session.
WHERE: We meet in the grass area near Charis Seafood in Labrador. Look for our banner with the Coastal Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic logo.
WHAT TO BRING: Yourself, your shoes, a water bottle and a towel.
WHO IS IT RUN BY: Coastal Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic resident triathlete Steven Stringer will conduct the session so you gain benefit of a running instructor who understands running biomechanics, common injuries people sustain and effective strategies to gain the best from your running.
